The magazine serves collectors of historic and contemporary representational painting, sculpture, drawings, and prints.

A prominent international fine art personality, Mr. Peter Trippi has held key positions at New York City’s Dahesh Museum of Art; the Brooklyn Museum; Baltimore Museum of Art; The Association of Art Museum Directors (he wrote that organization’s 1916 – 1991 history); Cooper-Hewitt Museum; National Arts Education Research Center/New York University; and American Arts Alliance, Washington, D.C.

W. Waterhouse R.A. (1849–1917) in 2002 that has sold 50,000 copies. And he wrote two chapters of the catalogue accompanying “A Grand Design: The Art of the Victoria and Albert Museum” for the exhibition at that celebrated London venue.

Peter Trippi is president of his own firm, Projects in 19th-Century Art, Inc., established in 2006 to pursue research, writing, and curating. His firm organizes exhibitions, publishes articles, essays, and catalogues, and arranges lectures widely.
